Sharing My Gem-Barbados-With You!

I welcome and thank you for visiting these pages on my website, Barbados-Vacation-Isle.com to learn more about my home and the many blessings bestowed on it. My name is Janet B, and I grew up on this marvelous island in the Caribbean many years ago.

Barbados, or Bim as its natives refer to it, is naturally beautiful and has some of the most friendly and hospitable people to be found anywhere in the world. With a background from slavery and long days working on the sugar plantations the spirits of my Bajan family still has not been daunted.

Barbados Vacation Isle developed out of a desire to write passionately about my home as I no longer live there; but have so many memories I needed to share with others. I miss very much the sunny weather; walking on the beach and then taking a swim in the crystal clear seawater after working all day; watching the boys and girls playing beach cricket; and hearing the older folks tell jokes until late into the night. I also miss very much my close friends but do get to chance to reunite whenever I visit at Christmas each year.

These web-pages will continue to be a work-in-progress as each time I visit Barbados, I will update, add, and delete pages as deemed necessary.
