The Animal Flower Cave
An Attraction in St. Lucy's Parish

The Animal Flower Cave, located in the St. Lucy Parish is a spectacular sight for visitors exploring some of the natural beauty of Barbados.

The Cave is a blend of coral rocks and the Atlantic Ocean formulating into a naturally beautiful Cave. Living in the Cave are small flowers we call “Animal Flower”

As a child many church bus-picnics took us to view this Cave. To see the Cave there are some steps you need to climb down, but once there you will witness its beauty unfold. Take a swim (if the tide is low) in the small coral pools in the Cave or view the many breathtaking sights of the Atlantic Ocean from the Cave several openings.
