Affordable Barbados Car Rental

Barbados car rental is affordable although sometimes pricey as many families operate these car rental companies. Most will rent cars from a minimum of one week.

With so much to do and see the best type of transportation is a car. We have a family friend who vacation in the island every August and he has rented cars from many places.

This deal is great if you are only visiting to attend a conference and want to go sightseeing before returning home. If you can't afford a rental car while on the island, you can use public transportation.

There are two types of buses; one operated by the Government and one privately owned which still adhere to the rules set for the Government operated ones.

Just know that buses don't run on a schedule and some rides although scenic are very long.

It is cheaper to ride the buses -BDS $2.00. I, however, strongly recommend hiring a car from one of Barbados Car Rental companies mentioned earlier.
