Barbados Concorde Experience

Barbados Concorde Experience with a difference! December 2008 was my first time visit to this attraction and I enjoyed the experience.

Are you like me! Never had a chance to fly on one of the Concordes? We all know that this is no longer possible since all concordes were grounded in 2003. However, if you are still interested in learning about and seeing one of these stunning, magnificent, and sophisticated pieces of technology; while you are in Barbados, make plans to visit this attraction.

On November 17, 2003,one of British Airways Concordes made its final flight to Barbados after many years of coming to the island every Saturday morning. This British Airways Concorde now resides in an airport hanger and is on display daily to both visitors and residents.

There is a small entrance fee which is worth the money. Be prepared to spend at least an hour for this attraction; more if you like playing with simulation modules. There is something for everyone – young and not so young. Arrangements have been made for the physical challenged to also experience the Barbados Concorde Experience.
