Barbados is divided into eleven parishes and nine of these parishes are located on the coastal shores of the island. Each parish brings its own history and beauty to the island and therefore are treasures on their own.

In the most northern parish, St. Lucy, there is the Animal Flower Cave, a coral cave with awesome views and beautiful sea animals. On the eastern coast you can find the parish of St. Joseph, very hilly with panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean.

On the south coast, you can find the parish of Christ Church all deck with its Lighthouse, Graeme Hall Sanctuary, and its historical Parish Church.

Rounding it all up is the parish of St. Michael which is neither quite south nor west but is known for its many statues –Emancipation Statue; Errol Barrow Statue and Lord Nelson Statue. This parish is also the home to the capital of the island, Bridgetown, and the sights of many architecture buildings from centuries ago.
